OK SO EVERYONE HAS A LIST THATS A VENUE THAT IS A PREFERRED VENDOR LIST THAT THEY RECOMMEND TO COUPLES GETTING MARRIED - WE ARE ON MANY OF THE VENUES LIST THROUGH OUT THE VALLEY AND WE LOVE THAT ! BUT ALSO REMEMBER THE VENUE YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED AT WORKS WITH A LOT OF THE SAME PEOPLE ALL THE TIME SO WHY NOT ASK YOUR INDIVIDUAL VENDORS, DJ'S, PHOTOGRAPHERS, OFFICIANT IF THEY RECOMMEND - WE SEE SO MANY DIFFERENT VENDORS AS A DJ COMPANY WE HAVE OUR OWN LIST ! IF YOU ARE A BOOKED CLIENT AND NEED HELP WITH ANY VENDORS - CONTACT US OR ASK US IN OUR INTERVIEWS WE CAN HELP - JUST ASK ! I THINK ITS BETTER TO ASK OTHER VENDORS OPINIONS ESPECIALLY SINCE WE SEE SO MANY !

Thank you for this post! As I have seen over the years, many venues ask their preferred vendors to PAY to be on their lists- a cost that is often passed onto the couples that book them.
Juan, you usually spend more of the wedding day with the couple than the coordinator of a venue- I agree that couples should be asking you for referrals too.
Thank you for encouraging "research" for the best vendors, not the easy out :)
